✨ Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – Lang Son (Lunch/Dinner)

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, your tour guide and driver will welcome you and transfer you to Lang Son, a border city known for its scenic limestone mountains and lively local culture (approx. 154 km).

Depending on your flight schedule, today’s sightseeing will follow one of two options:
Option 1 (After 12:00 PM): Visit Tam Thanh Temple, a peaceful 13th-century cave pagoda featuring ancient Buddhist statues, natural rock formations, and expansive countryside views.
Option 2 (Morning arrival): Explore the stunning Dong Lam Meadow, a 100-hectare grassland surrounded by green karst mountains—one of the most picturesque sites in Lang Son.

Afterwards, check in at your hotel and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Rest well for the journey ahead.

Day 2: Lang Son – Ban Gioc Waterfall – Cao Bang (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

After breakfast, depart for Cao Bang, passing through rural villages and scenic mountain landscapes. Enjoy lunch in Trung Khanh before visiting the impressive Ban Gioc Waterfall, one of the most spectacular natural landmarks in Vietnam, located right on the Vietnam–China border.

Continue to Nguom Ngao Cave, famous for its illuminated limestone formations and large caverns.
After sightseeing, check in at your hotel in Cao Bang city and enjoy dinner with local dishes.

Day 3: Cao Bang – Meo Vac – Nho Que River – Dong Van (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

This morning, drive toward Meo Vac across the dramatic Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, a UNESCO site known for its rugged mountains and ethnic minority villages.
Stop for lunch in Meo Vac before joining a peaceful boat trip on the Nho Que River, where emerald waters flow between towering cliffs beneath the iconic Ma Pi Leng Pass.

Afterward, visit Ma Pi Leng Pass viewpoint—one of Vietnam’s most famous mountain passes—for panoramic photos.
Continue to Dong Van town, check in at your hotel, and enjoy a dinner featuring H’mong cuisine.

Day 4: Dong Van – Yen Minh – Quan Ba (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

After breakfast, visit the symbolic Lung Cu Flag Tower, the northernmost point of Vietnam with sweeping views over terraced fields and border landscapes.
Continue to Lo Lo Chai Village, home to traditional earthen houses and a rich cultural heritage.

Next, tour the historic Vuong Palace (H’mong King’s Palace)—an architectural blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, and French influences. Enjoy lunch before driving toward Quan Ba via Lung Cam Village and the scenic Tham Ma Pass, famous for its dramatic curves and valley vistas.

Check in at your Quan Ba hotel and have dinner with regional specialties.

Day 5: Quan Ba – Ha Giang – Lam Thuong (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Enjoy breakfast before visiting the iconic Twin Mountain and Quan Ba Sky Gate, offering some of the best viewpoints in Ha Giang.
Continue to Ha Giang city for lunch, then travel on a peaceful countryside road toward Lam Thuong Valley, an untouched Tay ethnic community known for its rice fields, limestone karsts, and serene riverside landscapes.

Check in at a cozy lodge beside the river, enjoy dinner, and relax in the tranquil atmosphere.

Day 6: Lam Thuong Sightseeing (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

After a leisurely village walk and breakfast, begin a scenic 5 km trek to Nam Chan Waterfall, where you can relax, swim in clear waters, and enjoy fresh mountain air.
If the weather is suitable, a BBQ picnic lunch will be prepared by the river—an unforgettable forest dining experience.

In the afternoon, return to the lodge by bamboo raft, then unwind with a herbal bath, massage, or free time.
After dinner, join a traditional Tay ethnic dance show, where guests are invited to sing, dance, and interact with local performers.

Day 7: Lam Thuong – Hanoi Sightseeing (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

After breakfast and check-out, drive back to Hanoi (approx. 4 hours).
Have lunch in the city, then visit the famous Train Street, where you can enjoy coffee while watching the train pass incredibly close.
Continue to Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hanoi’s oldest Buddhist temple, and enjoy a scenic view of West Lake (weather permitting). Free time for shopping if time allows.

In the evening, enjoy a grand buffet dinner at Sen Tay Ho, one of Hanoi’s biggest and most diverse buffet restaurants.
Check in at your hotel and explore the Old Quarter at leisure.

Day 8: Hanoi Departure (Breakfast)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Depending on your flight time, take a final stroll around the Old Quarter before transferring to Noi Bai International Airport for departure.
